Anxiety is one of the most common mental health conditions worldwide.

At its core, anxiety is a natural survival response. It is the body’s fight or flight system activating in response to perceived threat.

However, when that system becomes hypersensitive, it can begin to activate in situations that are not dangerous. This is when anxiety shifts from protective to disruptive.
